- D Willey and M Klinger will open the inning. M Klinger is a consistent performer of domestic cricket while D Willey is very attacking batsman.
- H Cartwright batted at one down last year so he is expected to bat at 1 down again.He is also very attacking batsman.
- M Marsh and A Turner are expected to bat next. Both are very good batsman and were in good form in domestic cricket.
- A Agar and J Inglish will do late hitting duty for the team.
- N Coulter Nile and Jhye Richardson can bat also. Coulter Nile has played many good cameos from national team.
- A Agar will lead the spin attack of the team.He is a very good bowler.
- A Tye , J Richardson,J Behrendroff and N Coulter Nile will lead the pace attack of the team while D Willey and M Marsh will assist them. Coulter Nile is known for his accuracy while Richardson is known for his pace.

- Wil Sutherland is not bowling due to back injury but still he is expected to be in playing11 due to his batting.
- Tim Ludeman and hard hitting allrounder J Wildermuth (as per reports ) are expected to open the inning.Both are very attacking batsman.
- Ever reliable C White will bat at 1 down. He is a good stiker of ball and generally plays good.Team will hope good performance from him.
- Captain Tom Cooper ,Dan Christian and M Nabi are expected to bat next.Cooper has a good big bash record while both Nabi and D Christian are known for theri hard hitting.Christian was in good form in Mzansi Super League.
- It looks like any one of Sam Harper or Will Sutherland will play. Sutherland has high chance.
- C Boyce and C Tremain are also decent batsman .
- C Tremain,Usman Khan and Kane Richardson will lead the pace attack.Usman Khan took 3 wickets in warmup match while both Richardson and Tremain have played for their national team.
- D Christian will assist the pace trio.
