IN-U23 vs PK-U23 Dream11 Team
Batsmen:
1] Openers
Compared to Indian openers, Pakistani opening duo was imperious in the league stage. With two back-to-back tons, Sahibzada Farhan [234 runs in two games] is the leading run-scorer of the tournament. In Farhan’s absence, Zeeshan Malik chipped in with 47 while Ali Imran has also scored a hundred against Hong Kong. From India, Ruturaj Gaikwad, who scored 67 in the last game is a good option.
2] Middle-order
The middle-order will be led by the likes of Hussain Talat [132 runs], Himmat Singh [211 runs at 105.50] and Deepak Hooda [141 runs at 70.50].
Wicketkeeper:
Muhammad Rizwan has been in good form lately. The wicket-keeper batsmen scored 46 in the last game while Ankush Bains scored a pristine 83 against Oman to cap off the run-chase. Picking either of them will be prudent.
All-rounder:
Khushdil Shah [144 runs & 7 wickets] was the top-scorer for Pakistan in their 84-run loss to Bangladesh. He, along with Jayant Yadav- the second-highest wicket-taker of the tournament will be the all-rounders for my Dream11 side.
Other Options- Ali Imran, Nitish Rana
Bowlers:
Shivam Mavi [3-62] and Prasidh Krishna [2-47] spearheaded the bowling attack for India in the last game while Ankit Rajpoot and Stit Seth have also chipped in with wickets in the Group-stage. For Pakistan, Mohammad Ilyas chipped in with a five-wicket haul in the first match while Musa and Ashiq Ali have also contributed at different stages. Mayank Markande [7 wickets in 2 games] will lead the spin department.
