- Australian team has included their spear head M Starc in their team in place of injured Billy Satlanke
- In 2nd match Australian batsman fails to deliver and almost they were near to loose the match but rain has saved them so, they will want to put a improved show in this match.
- Aaron Finch and D Arcy Short will open the inning for Australia. Both the openers have failed to perform in this series, specially Finch has disappoint every one with his poor runs. On the same note D Arcy Short is still searching runs in international arena.
- C Lynn will bat number 3 for Australia. At home pitches he can be dangerous and has the capability to change the game scenario one handedly. He has shown his capability in first match
- GJ Maxwell will follow him, he will be key for Australia in middle order as he has lot of familiarity with Indian bowlers. He has played important knock in first match.
- Marcus Stoinis will do late hitting and allround duty for the team. He was good with ball and bat in first match for Australia. He is an impact player for Australia.
- Ben Mcdermott will follow him, he has capability to hit with good strike rate. He has also scored good runs in previous match so, he should have regain some confidence from previous match.
- A Carey can be promoted any time, he can bat at any position .
- M Starc will replace either of J Behendroff or Nathan Counter Nile in playing 11, as Counter Nile can bat also so can be get edge ahead of Behendroff.
- M Starc and A Tye will lead the pace attack of Australia. Tye was expensive in 1st match but he has good varition in his bag and has the capability to make a strong comeback .
- Admam Zampa was outstanding in first match, despite rain he was able to grip the ball well and has produced a magical spell of 4 overs.

- Most probably India should play with same playing 11 as of previous match as they will want to level the series.
- Khaleel has made a good comeback in previous match and bowled well so India team will want another fine performance from him.
- Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will open the inning . Rohit Sharma loves to bat on batting pitches and he also loves pace and bounce and these Australian pitches should suit him.
- Dhawan was on role in 1st match, he loves to perform overseas for India. India definitely need another blistering knock from his bat.He scored 76 runs in 1st match.
- KL Rahul will bat at 1 down. He is very good t20 player and has already scored 2 centuries in t20s but his recent form is not that much appreciable.
- Indias superstar and world's best batsman of world Virat Kohli is expected to bat at 2 down. He rarely fails in any match. He can even come at 1 down as Rahul has failed at number 3 spot. India best batsman should bat at number 3 and that is Kohli.
- Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik will bat in middle order, both has played handy knock in 1st match but were unable to cross the line. Dinesh Kartik seems to be arising as good finisher for team India. He has lot of capability.
- Krunal Pandya had off day in 1st match as he was unable to perform with both bat as well ball, but he has made a good comeback in previous match where he outperformed Maxwell with gem of delivery.
- Kuldeep Yadav will lead the spin attack of the team.He will be supported by Krunal .Kuldeep is currently in good form.
- Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Jaspreet Bumrah will lead the pace attack..Both are bowling well .Bhuvaneshwar is very good bowler of this format while Bumrah is India's best pace bowler and is world no. bowler in ICC ranking in ODI's. They will be supported by Khaleel Ahmed.
