- Asif Ali is unavailable while there is slight doubt on participation of K Parera.
- Jason Roy and Sam Billings have just joined the team and will play this match.
- Jason Roy and Luke Wright are expected to open the inning. Both are very attacking player. Wright had a very good t20 blast while Jason Roy was inred hot form in this format with England team.
- Chirag Suri and Sam Billings are expected to come next. Suri is not very good t20 [player but is expected to play due to quota of 1 UAE player while S Billings is very good hitter of ball and is a technically strong player.
- Mohammad Nabi,S Narine and S Rutherford will do late hitting duty. Nabi is a test specialist while Rutherford has just scored a century on just 34 balls in the warmup game. Rutherford has very good hitting capabilities and he has shown it in Canada t20, Cpl and in the warmup game.
- Mystery spinner Mujeeb Zadran,Sunil Narine and Mohammad Nabi will lead the spin attack of the team. All are in very good form. Sunil and Mujeeb have very good record in t20 format.
- Zaheer Khan ,the legend bowler of India will lead the pace attack with Morne Morkel.One of Ali Khan or R Emrit will assist them. Zaheer took 2 wickets in practise match and looked in good touch while M Morkel was in good form in England county cricket.
NORTHERN WARRIORS TEAM NEWS:
- This team is full of Carebbean players and have real potential to win this tournament.
- Team coach has said that their all players are available so team is expected to go with their strongest 11.
- Andre Russell is back from injury and is raring to go .This is very good news for the team as he can win the match single handedly for his team on his day.
- In Uae players leg spinner Imran Haider is expected to play.
- Dwayne Smith and L Simmons are expected to open the inning of the team. D Smith is hard hitting batsman while Simmons play sensible cricket. D Smith has very good t20 record.
- Ravi Bopara is expected to bat at 1 down. He generally play anchor role and is a handy medium pace bowler also.
- Rovmon Powell and N pooran are expected to bat next. Rovmon Powell struggled in India but he was in very good form in CPL . Npooran is also very good batsman and has scored halfcentury against India in his last t20.
- Andre Russell and Darren Sammy will do late hitting duty. Russell can get promoted anytime for big hitting. Recent form of D Sammy is no very good.
- Chris Green/K Pierre will lead the spin attack while Imran Haider will assist them .Chances of playing of Green is high.
- Wahab Riaz, H Gurney/O Mccoy and Andre Russell will lead the pace attack of the team.All have played for their national team and are very good bowler.Wahab was in good form in t20 blast.
